a place to go, a memory to feel.

Writing without the burden of
structure, purpose or desire.
Writing without the exhaustion
of emotional tire.

Writing to connect paper to mind.
Writing to wander and see what I find.

Writing in spite of habit to grow.
Writing with nothing significant to show.

Writing because this is just who I am.
Writing to jump and see where I land.

First time drawing a mandala starting with stencil markings and then doodling. Painted with my kids’ watercolor paints that came out like gouache. It was a fun little meditative piece done riverside at our homeschool gathering.
